Inspired by a book I was listening to on tape called Incarceron. It's a really good book, I suggest you read it if you like dark-ish reading.
Of course, this is my own twisted account XD

I LOVE this book! I read it earlier this year, and really enjoyed it. The only problem was that right after Incarceron, I read the second book, Sapphique, and then The Death Cure (book three in the Maze Runner Trilogy). I then proceeded to read this other sad/dark-ish book. So I got really depressed because of my "sad book reading spree." But I'm over it now, thank God.

Thanks so much for the comment~
Yeah! I only read the first one, so don't spoil anything for me! I loved it so much, but the ending was disappointing. I bet the next book clears it up, though.
Reading dark books is so fun, though! D:

Just warning you, the second book clears up a lot of things, but the ending is far from satisfying. Even though all books have unsatisfying endings, I find that depressing books have the least satisfying endings of them all, including The Death Cure and Sapphique. Good books, bad endings :(

Hmm. That's too bad. I know, depressing books have very sad endings sometimes, don't they?

Yes, depressing books do have sad endings. Sometimes, though, it's not just sad. When I finish certain books/series, I feel all empty inside, which further depresses me. Oh, well.

Can you recommend any books to me? I've run out of good books to read.

Hmm... Depending on where you're located, you can read Skulduggery Pleasant. It's pretty easy, but over all, a really enjoyable book. There's 6 of them out, I think.
I also enjoy reading Stephen King, but that's completely different, I guess. I liked Cujo, Misery, Carrie, The Shining, and Firetarter.

Thanks. I have read Skulduggery Pleasant and Playing with Fire, but I didn't know that the other books were out too! Thanks again.
